IT is in your wallet: My Smith’s Rosebud Salve is essential, especially during Chicago winters - perfect for chapped lips, dry cuticles, and the like. I also always carry a notepad and magazine or a book in case I get stuck somewhere without entertainment, or if I come up with a brilliant idea that I just have to write down.
IT is in your bathroom: Mascara, mascara, mascara! I’ve tried everything from Diorshow to Great Lash, and the best one I’ve found is actually a drugstore purchase - Maybelline Sky High Curves (great curl and lasts forever). I love Aveda Blue Malva conditioner (keeps blonde highlists from getting brassy).
IT is in your closet: I love heels by Vince Camuto and Via Spiga - I live in high heels. My vintage red leather trench and my Kensie jersey dresses (great for layering) are also in heavy rotation.
IT designer – coveted purchases: Jil Sander to Roberto Cavalli.

Last but not least the item that makes it all possible leaving you looking and feeling incredible…a great bras from Le Mystere No 9 or Chantelle. Le Mystere No 9 was designed for the augmented you and is highly recommended.

Guilty “it” Pleasures: Wearing my Tiara Misu Tiara while housecleaning & Paris Hilton’s Stars Are Blind.
Trend that’s not “it” for you: It would have to be a tie between skinny jeans and leggings. As for the jeans - don’t get me wrong! I love them they just don’t suit me. As for leggings – I lived through this trend the first time and was glad to see them go. Luckily they’re back in new updated fabrics so hopefully I won’t be forced to see oversized women in spandex leggings & tshirt shopping the aisles of my local market. Highly suggest!! topping them with a cute short skirt or throwing a Betsy Johnson dress over them for a dressier look. Big tops are key to balance the silhouette. Honourable Mention: Scripture Handbags. I don’t think God wants me to buy a handbag. There’s something just wrong with this trend.
What one makeup product – wouldn’t leave the house without IT: Lip Gloss! Biotherm Glossy Shine #30 (by day) and MAC Lip Glass – Chai (by night).
