It’s time to get down to business! Even Who What Where has pointed out how ‘ladies like Rachel Bilson and Katie Holmes have moved on to the briefcase bag.’

I’m promoting the use of briefcase bags in our everyday looks.  Not just with our business suits, but with our everyday jeans and t-shirt looks alike.  Even if you don’t have very much to carry around don’t sweat "it" because, really,  what does a Hollywood star have to carry around in their briefcase?  We all know they wouldn’t carry a briefcase unless it was "it" style.  Fill "it" up with lipgloss!

This Burburry Medway Messenger Bag in slouchy black leather is more for flexible working or fashion forward women.  The Burberry Albert Briefcase, if you wanna take advantage of the plaid fall season trends and a more structured look.  I personally have been wearing a Mexx version of the briefcase bag that I’ve had for years!

Luxe Grunge – says it all. If one designer sums up this season it’s Marc Jacobs.

You may not wear an original MJ, but it’ll be hard to avoid the knock offs of this chicer updated grunge/boho collection; an unkempt approach to wardrobe (a la Olsen twins).

First motivated by Seattle’s groundbreaking rock scene in the 1990s – Jacobs’ update contains all the mainstays of yesterday’s grunge (flannel, plaid, layers and leg warmers) alongside today’s sophisticated pieces, including capes, shawls and jackets.
