You’ll likely recognize Josie Maran as the face behind so many Maybelline ads. We’re picking her as an “it girl” because of her new contributions to making us all beautiful - not by slick ads but with some green makeup.

Only MAC could pull off a feat like that! There’s Hello Kitty Kouture, slick black makeup bags, and the main Hello Kitty Colour Collection has six shades of lipsticks and glosses, a lash set, shadows and more.

“To me, MAC Hello Kitty embodies the ultimate beauty icon,” Jennifer Balbier, senior vice president of product development for MAC Worldwide, told WWD. “She’s sweet and sexy, slightly edgy, and appeals to a wide range of customers.”

The most anticipated M.A.C. Cosmetics’ collections since they did Barbie…the limited-edition Hello Kitty collection will launch at MAC’s website on February 10th, 2009, and will be available at North American stores on February 12. Meow!
