You may recall Fergie Ferg joined MAC’s Viva Glam campaign last Feb, so this is actually her 2nd Viva run.

Fergie revealed her new Viva Glam VI Special Edition Lipstick and ad for Mac Cosmetics. Over the past 15 years  MAC Viva Glam lipsticks have raised over $130 million for HIV/AIDS globally. 100% of the sales from the new lipstick will go towards the MAC AIDS Fund.

The Duchess, Stacy Ann Ferguson ala Fergie has been spending the last months promoting herself as the new spokesperson for Viva Glam VI. And now the latest shade is available in stores. Over $100 million has been raised by M.A.C. Cosmetics for their AIDS program.

“I’ve been a fan of the campaign since the early days, and I remembered when RuPaul and Mary J. Blige did it,” Fergie says. “They pick controversial people who aren’t afraid to speak their mind, and that’s definitely me. I’m very proud to be a part of it.”

Fergie is an “it girl” because she is such a radical free spirit. The singer catapulted her solo success beyond Black Eyed Peas, is engaged to hottie Josh Duhamel, and is dabbling in some acting. Thumbs up are given to her because she’s using that success to promote M.A.C. Cosmetics virtuous cause.

She’s been pretty candid about her dodgy sexual and narcotic past, and so it only makes sense this is her way of moving forward from that in a positive way.

Fergie was a no show at the MTV Music Awards despite having some of the most popular songs and videos of the year, and won female artist of the year.

The Dutchess of Pop, Fergie, might have been too busy launching her new purses. Fergie has designed a line of bags for Kipling, the Belgian brand originally inspired by The Jungle Book.

Modeled after a few of her favorite looks, three collections of assorted silhouettes—hobos and handbags, messengers and clutches, cosmetic cases and fanny packs – will be released in waves throughout fall. The first collection is Naughty Scout and bags appear in appropriate Fergie names like Curious, Glamorous, Tasty Tasty and Vicious.
