Be Bright!

Fall/Winter is usually when we reach towards our staple black, navy or brown wool coats to brave the cold – but stop! This winter we have said bye-bye to black coats. (And any other dark neutral color)
Color has been infused into our outerwear and thank goodness for it! Dare you to find a black coat without it’s fruity colored counterpart lurking nearby. Belted and found in bright fuchsia, yellow, green, orange – think fruit basket colors!
I’ve always loved the structure of ‘Andrew Marc‘ outerwear and he is right on-trend with this gorgeous teal version of the bright coat.
How to wear it? Let it be your statement and don’t compete with it. Keep bright colors to outerwear and leave the rest of your outfit neutral – black, navy and beige underneath highlight these coats best. Keep belt tied tight to cinch the waist and your scarves and gloves are best also neutral. Come across a fabulous 3/4 sleeve version? – why not pair with a killer pair of elbow length gloves.
Winter is depressing enough as it is so why not be bright and fabulous throughout it?
