Oversized watches are a big trend right now. Makes sense because to get the time you only have to look as far as your mobile phone, PDA, iPod or whatever gadget is attached to you.
Watches are now more accessory than necessity – so to emphasis that point watches have suddenly inflated. Cuff bracelets, or menswearish inspired chunky.
Two good picks are this Betsey Johnson watch (Urban Outfitters) or BCBGirls Watches have tons of cool oversized. This one has a champagne dial, but also comes in a pink.
This trend will last for awhile – oversize watches are showing up in high-end luxury brands like Movado. People don’t spend a lot of money on watches only to wear them for a season or two and put them in the drawer.
