BC Fashion Week “It List” ~ theitlists.com

Monday, October 8th, 2007

At the recent BC Fashion Week, selected media, designers and celebrities were invited to attend fashion shows spotlighting some of BC’s best & emerging designers, retreat in the EFFEN Vodka Style Lounge and kick up their heels at the BC Fashion Week Sound of Fashion Launch Party (both hosted by yours truly & the rest of my team of fashionistas), and also receive a special gift bag that the It Lists helped bring together.

The bag included some of my fav things - such as Pout Plump lip gloss, a sampling of Frédéric Fekkai’s new Coiff line, Goody Styling Therapy hair brush, Love is Heaven underwear (very Ed Hardy), Nettwerk Records’ new Um Huh Her disc (Camila Grey and also Leisha Hailey from the L-Word) that I’m loving, Linden Leave’s Gold Mist, and many other fun bits.

Edgy Eco - Nicole Bridger ~ theitlists.com

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Nicole Bridger’s eco friendly collection is being touted as one of the ‘ones to watch’ at the upcoming BC Fashion Week. Her collection plays with shape and detail, each piece balancing offbeat basics with a mild avant garde undertone.

Bridger’s fashion tour begain with an apprenticeship with Vivienne Westwood, the Queen of Punk design and one of the most important designers of the 20th century. She then returned home to Vancouver and hooked up with Chip Wilson, founder of Lululemon, to co-create the organic and sustainable clothing brand OQOQO (pronounced OhKoKo).  Having learned the ins and outs of sustainability she’s now launched her own self-titled line, Nicole Bridger.
