Simon Kneen is a brilliant man. He’s the Creative Director & Exec VP of Design (whoo mouthful) for Banana Republic. And every collection he’s done since stepping in – just keeps on getting better.

Banana Republic’s spring collection is very buzz worthy for it’s soft silhouettes and ice cream colors.

Best maxi dress finds here, ladies! Love this chocolate, teal, lime striped dress, which is boho glamorous.

And everything in their Heritage collection is toss-on, instant summer classy. Best of all the whole collection is going eco-friendly.

While I’ve not started picking out my party dress for the season I have nailed down the perfect little clutch purse. This Banana Republic Jeweled Roll Clutch is divine. With chunky embellishments it comes in silver, black or royal blue.

This decent size party bag will actually hold more than a valet ticket and gum. And as you’re packing away all your party bits you’ll love the decadent, pretty pink satin lining. This bag is so darn glamifying that it might be enough to recycle a dress from a season gone by. This is by far the smartest holiday accessory to spend on.

I told you orange would be one of spring’s ‘it’ colors. Delicious citrus hues!

It’s more versatile than you think too! It’s brilliant with neutrals – think about that taupe and red combo you love, just sub the red with orange.

And for a great way to move it into your wardrobe this Banana Republic Orange Lady Coat (yes, that’s its name) is a great little find. Pair it with this sleeveless geo-print and you’re super hip.

This Flatiron satchel is lizard-embossed and in persimmon it’s another orange dash to your wardrobe. But wearing this purse with the jacket might be a bit much.
 

November always strikes the season for the festive party circuit. Mine includes a zillion house parties, and not all of them involve totally dressing up. I like wearing more festive tops with plain, casual bottoms. As a bonus this Banana Republic red jersey top is a good spark of color (and this season’s hot color). Take a big, knubby cable knit scarf and get a stylish and adaptable look like this (right)…

For another totally adaptable option – picture this Banana Republic outfit (left) with a skirt rather than jeans. I have this top in brown and wear it with everything dressy or cas’. The wool blend isn’t itchy, it’s just enough to give it a richer texture than all those t-shirts we live in. And don’t ignore the big bag find hanging on her arm.
