Here’s a twist to mobster tradition - gangster from a female perspective. Wisegal, a Lifetime original telemovie premiers Saturday night at 9. And it stars Alyssa Milano.
She has her own clothing and jewelry company, Touch by Alyssa Milano, and she’s currently featured in a recurring role on NBC’s "My Name Is Earl."
Now in the fact-based mob drama, Milano plays a widow trying to support her two sons by selling stolen cigarettes. She then falls for a Brooklyn mob captain (Jason Gedrick), but the family boss (James Caan ex-Las Vegas) persuades her to work for the family.
Side Story: I’ve once had a funny opportunity to run shoulders with Ms Milano - we shared a copy of the National Enquirer which she narrated gossip story by story with: true, not true, true. Very funny.
