In a time when “green”,“organic” and “eco-friendly” aren’t just mainstream terms, but also mantras, the idea of going green is understood to be so important yet they also conjure up images of giving up the luxuries you love. But now environmentally conflicted consumers can take heart with this new book:
Green Chic: Saving the the Earth in Style by Christie Matheson is a girlie book about going green. It’s written in a chatty format that’s easy to read. More like a girl dishing her fav green nuggets to the eco-curious.
Celebrate Earth Day with some tips on wash and care of all your pretty things to how to be savvy about cosmetic packaging. Some of the info is more of a reminder, but the book is packed full of online resources and info on “why” to make eco-choices.
Happy Earth Day All!
I know from experience that living your life as a vegan is not easy. Natalie Portman who is a long-time vegan has just recently rolled out a cruelty-free line of shoes for specialty retailer Té Casan.
100% of the proceeds benefit The Nature Conservancy, an organization dedicated to ecological protection.
Today is the day that an actual shoe line is passing the test and giving us an option when it comes to a fashionably responsible way of life. I thank you so much Miss Portman for your contributions, it’s nice to have a fashion forward vegan step up to the plate.
However your styles are a lil plain jane, so please be sure give us a call when Mary Janes aren’t the cutest option in the collection.

The makers of Square One Vodka at Singular Spirits asked themselves “why not create a luxury spirit that leaves a light footprint on the earth yet makes a big splash [so to speak] among cocktail cognoscenti.”
Not only is this the 1st eco-friendly new vodka, but this is also a company promoting a modern platform of being a social and socially responsible company. Their website opening pages offers a blog on green happenings.
Square One is organic because it started from square one which is the most natural ingredients; a concept heisted from the community of inspiration of organic farmers markets. The concept is green, the product itself is as natural as you can get and the packaging makes this product full circle the best “it” guilt free legal pleasure in the environment’s atmosphere this month.
