Bambo Brush “it”
I LOVE my new makeup brushes! I recently did the rounds at the Vancouver IMATS show. International Make-Up Artists Trade Show for you rookies (like me). I spent hours playing around with all the brushes and then settled on these!
S*I*L*K GreeLine Brushes are my upgrade from my Sephora set. I’ve experimented with every one of the 12 pro-grade brushes and each one feels like a feather but strokes with precision.
If that wasn’t enough this brush set is eco-friendly with its bamboo handles, handy cork zippered case, and synthetic filaments that rival natural brushes.
I’m going to chalk up this makeup brush set to my list of “why did I wait this long to get” – - along with Estee Lauder’s vibrating mascara and a tourmaline hair dryer. This “it” gal is all about cooking and baking. You can find me spending all my evenings trying new recipes and the weekends testing them out with friends while entertaining. In January 2013 it was announced that Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry were coming together with Chinese actress and Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, Li Bingbing, on a new Collection – an eco-friendly limited edition Bamboo watch collection.
Each watch is handmade, as if that isn’t impressive enough; they are using bezel, a lightweight bamboo and have also created a bracelet to complete the collection. The bracelet is made of bamboo and Tagua nut, which is a vegetable ivory as opposed to using animal tusks.
You can purchase this watch online at Gucci, choosing from the three styles available. The collection is beautiful and simple with much attention to detail like the “Responsible Life” script you will find engraved into each piece. I think the silver accents the naturalness of the bamboo perfectly, making this piece a luxury watch must-have to keep wrapped around your pretty little wrist.
