Omega Olympic Times
This girl loves her Pimms – and what better way to toast OMEGA’s official role as timekeeper of the London Games.
We enjoyed traditional British bites thanks to Hawksworth (yum!) while we helped polish Jacob Wetzel’s silver medals. Jacob is a two-time Rowing silver medal winner. That’s Jay on the left (all grins). On the right Joy Pecknold, May Globus, and friend.
Did you know? Omega Watches became the official timekeeper of the Olympics in conjunction with London hosting its first Olympic Games in 1948.
To commemorate Omega’s history with the 2012 London Olympic Games, OMEGA releases 1,948 limited edition timepieces in its Olympic Collection for London 2012. Steel, red-gold and yellow gold watches and all are avail at Omega’s boutique in Vancouver (Fairmont Hotel).
