Drape “it” Ghost
The ultimate in drapers has to be Ghost UK.
And since I was on my maximum budget for fancy cocktail dresses a recent visit in London was pure agony. A room full of their signature beautiful maxi dresses - each has a flattering bias cut with satin and crepe textured panels and elegant v-backs.
I’ve even been told that in hard recession times Ghost UK has started to sell their trademark easy-to-wash easy-to-wear crepe fabrics.
The compromise on this visit to get my Ghost crepe was that I indulged this little number…Billie Striped Crepe Top ivory with dark grey stripes. Paired with some skinny jeans and heels it’s been perfect for a round of events.
And in some perfume: Ghost Sweetheart (which is more citrus and vanilla than sweet).
I’m just happy to have a new Ghost in the closet!

This “it” gal is all about cooking and baking. You can find me spending all my evenings trying new recipes and the weekends testing them out with friends while entertaining. But the one thing I can never stand is the smell of cooking in my hair. I have no time to get a blowout or get ready before guests come; that was until I was introduced to a fabulous new concept.

In January 2013 it was announced that Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry were coming together with Chinese actress and Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, Li Bingbing, on a new Collection – an eco-friendly limited edition Bamboo watch collection.
Each watch is handmade, as if that isn’t impressive enough; they are using bezel, a lightweight bamboo and have also created a bracelet to complete the collection. The bracelet is made of bamboo and Tagua nut, which is a vegetable ivory as opposed to using animal tusks.
You can purchase this watch online at Gucci, choosing from the three styles available. The collection is beautiful and simple with much attention to detail like the “Responsible Life” script you will find engraved into each piece. I think the silver accents the naturalness of the bamboo perfectly, making this piece a luxury watch must-have to keep wrapped around your pretty little wrist.
