dree-hemingway.jpgSome of my fav it girls seem to have cool lineages – take for example, Dree Hemingway. Her great-grandfather was writer Ernest Hemingway and her mother, actress, Mariel Hemingway.

“But Hemingway is injecting more than lineage into the scene. Not only is there something refreshingly American about her, she also has an infectious high-spiritedness. Then there’s the matter of her innate sense of style, which allows her to mix a sharp graphic palette with some grit and urban edge. It’s a look with legs — perhaps not what you’d expect from a ballerina from Idaho,” said NY Times T Mag.

And now the ex-ballerina is an up and coming model (Elite). Recent claims to fame include features in Elle, editorials for Interview Magazine; she has also represented Halston and made her Fall 2009 debut on the Givenchy catwalk.

I look forward to more of her “pretty, edgy” style in the mags!
