Monokini “it” Poolside

You can hear a collective sigh of relief from all those women that hate putting on a bikini. This summer’s swimwear trend is all about the monokini.
Ironically, many of these one-piece bathing suits don’t give you much more coverage or support than a bikini. Black dominates the racks this season, but interesting cut-outs and designs create the visual interest so often lost where color lacks.
This little black monokini. Aqua di Lara Mendoza Swimsuit, is one of the coolest ones I’ve seen. And check out the lack of back – is that not sexy as hell?
The biggest downfall to a monokini is the risk of odd or unflattering tan lines.

I love this bathing suit. The cut-outs it has are really nice and interesting. The bad thing is that you need to be in real good shape to wear these making it a downfall. Oh well, it will give me a good reason to work out and get in shape instead of sitting around doing nothing but homework!
