The Coach Lizza Shoe. I can’t believe I’m writing this post - unlike Shelley, I’m not a big fan of Coach. Not really even for a minute. But when I saw these shoes I couldn’t deny why I liked them.
Plain Jane, like Coach is notorious for what attracts me to this very simply
styled shoe for this season. Simple yes - but this double strap addition to the Mary Jane is also ’styling’ right now. I’m predicting these shoes have the ability to look good with almost anything.
Vanity Fair recently featured Lizza Shoe in Black with a black and white pair of stripped stockings that made me want to run out a grab a pair right away. At $278 this deal of price is also what Coach is notorious for - means that you could be wearing this shoes to work on Monday!
In Gunmetal or Bronze I suggest matching them with your best suit. ~ Nicole, guest "it" writer.
Now this is how you do Halloween - M.A.C. Cosmetic style. For an option to naughty school girl, naughty nurse, naughty BORING… Amphibian, Tronika, Doll, and Wood Sprint are just some of the looks they’ve created to bring out the creative costume in you. Come on gals, you can do some much prettier naughty something.
The other thing that I’ve noticed is the great assortment of Halloween false eyelashes. I give credit to this to Shu Uemera and his pairing with designer duo Viktor & Rolf. This last summer their limited edition eyelash fashions were bar none, and raised the bar for falsies.

A day in the life of a model is schizophrenic – who you are is dictated by who the photographer, designer or magazine wants you to be.
The vibe and look is as different as the many runways a model walks on. To demonstrate this the NY Times ran an article called Model-Morphosis.
Photographer Greg Kesseler captures the constantly changing faces of the recent NY fashion week – taking one girl from chic Roberto Cavelli to frolicking in Betsy Johnson in an almost unrecognizable transition. Stunningly fun! Here’s Abbey Lee.
I can only imagine the amount of makeup remover and cotton balls, to safety pins and body tape that it took for all these gals to grace Fashion Week.

Just flipping through Vanity Fair minding my own business when a ‘slouchy sack of wonderful’ caught my eye. How could I not have known about these purses before?
Sissi Rossi bags in sumptuous, distressed butter leather. The hardware and stye so very ‘Chloe’ - only my most coveted bag. The Italian quality and charm that would fulfill your search for a handbag to make a lifetime fashion statement, without taking a lifetime to pay off.
Their messenger bag just melts - butter, butter, butter. The one I love the most is this basic muted purple slouch (shown, bottom right), but for the trendy at heart Sissi Rossi also has trims in ostrich or crocodile.
Tie scarves around your wrists! An extension of the head scarf trend that boasted its beautiful soft patterns and fabrics is now extended to your wrists. With the right cuff bracelet and patterned scarf combo you are sporting the best downplayed trend of the day.
BlueFly featured this modern combo using an Hermes scarf - which I love. Hermes scarves are always extremely elegant patterns, it would be hard to decide which one to buy!
I love my leather cuffs and didn’t know when to bring them back into my street look without looking like a rocker. With the proper scarf in place and a pair of baggy jeans and either my favourite metal cuff bracelet or a leather one I`ll be glad I tied one on. Tie on this new twist on wrist bands.

Okay - my whining dog informs me I’ve been on the computer enough & it’s time for the dog park. Hey, it’s an excuse to put on my paisley wellies! But I just tripped upon Max Studio’s fall Look Book - and it’s full of great finds (click image).
