If ever it was true that fashion kills, then that could surely said about my sore feet at the end of a night on the social circuit. Too much champagne usually has me reaching to take my pretty shoes off.*
But now I’m fully loaded (not on champagne silly) on Airplus for Her gel cushions. What I love about them is that you don’t need to measure and cut and all those messy things, they’re ready to go to peel & stick. The clear gels discreetly work with any kind of shoe - even strappy little sandals.
Save My Soles for overall protection, Heel Savers has a custom gel cushioning system, and there’s one just for me with Ball-of-Foot cushions. It’s going to be a long summer, but now I’m ready!
*P.S. Lana, thank you for stopping me last weekend. That really would have been a nasty walk. That’s what friends, and Airplus are for. ;)
It’s been a crazy month of all my traveling for work, and keeping up with my passion for blogging. So I need a holiday! Some travel purely for fun. Oh joy, another airport.
The It Lists is on holidays until July 18. I’m off to Croatia!! (Do videnja is goodbye in Croatian)
Don’t fear! I’m going to do my best to trickle in some of fashion trends I’ve spotted while I was in London and LA; I just won’t be posting as frequently as usual. Enjoy some sun! I’ll be relaxing in the crystal green waters of the Adriatic Sea - smack in the middle of Italy and Greece.

It’s “ironic” that Alanis Morissette, a former child actress turned dance-pop diva, managed to transform herself into a confessional alternative songstress - all those angry lyrics that called out women angst!
Now Alanis Morissette is one of rock music’s biggest selling female artists and a seven time Grammy Award winner. And weeks ago released her latest album: Flavors of Entanglement.
While engaged to Hollywood hottie, Ryan Reynolds she morphed again, but this time into a glamorous woman. Now she’s embracing her full figure and a new look straight out of one of her own videos.
Her she is decked in Diesel from the “Underneath” video, which is the first single from Flavors of Entanglement. Once again raising the bar on the “cool” factor and what it means to be a Canadian Rockstar.
Tom Ford sunglasses are often noted for their architectural form, sublime details and superb quality. Nicole has her summer sunglass pick, and these are mine.
These Tom Ford Eyewear Whitney Sunglasses are the perfect complement to a modern outfit - in fact you could be wearing jeans and t-shirt and these glasses would “voila” make you instantly styled.
Super gorgeous oversized frames with the signature criss-cross bridge and silver metal bands at temples. And Whitney seems to have made friends with Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson & Nicky Hilton.
Butterfly tops are loose fitting, mostly made of thin floaty sheer material with 3/4 length sleeves and a v-wrap neckline.
Every so often a style of top makes it super easy to be stylish, sexy and feminine. The butterfly top is just that top for Summer 2008. Sophisticated plunging necklines with smooth bronzed skin are ultra sensual. When you combine sheer flowing sleeves and the nipped waist ties, this top will have boys fluttering around you!
Featured here is the Jovovich-Hawk polka dot Kelly wrap butterfly top. Cute for a quick after dinner gelato date or lunch with the girls!

Tonight I’m with my girlfriends who are performing at the Playboy Mansion, followed by a rooftop party at the Roosevelt Hotel. I’ll pass along your love to Hef! And that’s just Friday.

I’ve got a hall pass from my husband - and we’re doing the girls weekend trip ‘Hollywood’ style. And I’m not talking P13-Rated Hills. When I’m nursing my Pomtini hangover - I’ll be shopping up Robertson Blvd.
I’m off to LA la land, back blogging in a few days!
This summer any kind of dress is ‘in’ and you can cinch your style double time with one great accessory: Double strap belts and double buckle belts are my "stand out" selection for theitlists this month.
To make your outfit stand out in any crowd - look online for your favorite designer and pick up their version of the double belt. The A-line mini, the bold graphic or the strappy sun dress will all pop just by adding a double strapped or double buckle skinny belt.
Karen Zambos has a ton of belt styles to pair with a ton of really cool dresses Featured here is her skinny two buckle. Check out her Elegantly Waisted section featured on her website! ~ Nicole, guest "it" writer.
From chocolate diamonds to chocolate satin knickers we’ve shared our love of chocolate with our readers. Now it’s time to share our latest appreciation of the real thing, not just the color.
Dove Chocolate in Dark (71% cacao), Milk, and Dusk. Dusk is fantastic because it finally settles some guilt - love the taste of milk chocolate, but always felt less guilty eating a whole bar of dark. Dusk is both!
Our favorites is the Dove Chocolate Squares. Honestly we Dove’d them. You’ll be delightfully surprised with the little messages printed on the inside foil of the individually wrapped chocolate squares.
They read: Unplug the phone…..Give out the wrong number….Buy yourself flowers.
So not only did we enjoy our moments with Dove Chocolate, but we also got to enjoy an little thought which made it an even better moment! My Dove. My Moment. Its really true.
Here’s a trend that might tickle your fancy…Feathers.
This whimsical trend translates so well onto some many things. It’s the perfect touch - and so much more grown up than, say, a bow.
From Castle Starr’s silk feather print dress in pewter to these Hale Bob Shaina Sandals that are to die for (serious drool). Could you be more glam’ walking into a room in these?
We’ll forgive Carrie for that bird on her head in wedding dress #1. And beyond that, stay tuned as the feather trend continues to take flight.
Don’t you hate when you get whiteout and ink smeared on your hands? This time it’s actually cool - if you did it on purpose with OPI INK a vibrant dark blue colour.
The year started off with a lot of buzz on blue nail colour and that’s just what I’m in the mood for blue. Right now I’m Blue ’cause I’m sick of waiting for summer to bring me BBQ’s, bellinis and boys.
In the meantime I’m still blue - but I’m perking up this dark shinning purple blue OPI Ink on my fingers and my toes. This week I discovered that not only does this polish go great with any denim "it" also looks super hot with anything red or brown. So….I’ve turned my frown upside down all because of this lovely shade of blue Let me know what color best describes you this week.

Harvey Nichols to Harrods…Covent Garden to Camden Market…oh my. I’m in London for a few days this week for my ‘day job.’ And if I get an hour to myself it’ll be power shopping at one of these. Although Camden Market is surely the best place to seek out the hottest new trends bubbling in the street scene - even before it hits the runways.
And London will be sparkling more than usual from June 11 -15, as Coutts London Jewellery Week bejewels some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.
Just a short trip - I’ll be back home and blogging for the weekend!
