Satin is one of the hip fabrics this season - anything with shine, right?!
But I think it’s too much in this resurrected trend of an urban turban - let alone satin turban. Channeling old Hollywood ala Gabor and Dietrich just isn’t happening for me.
I’ve been spotting the turban for a bit now, and I’m really surprised the trend’s got some life to it. I don’t know what to make of this, except to say "not for me." Maybe it’s like a pixy cut, you have to be drop dead gorgeous to pull off?
Check out Ashley Olsen in her turban head band, which is a bit more doable (is that a word).

I only use a pink bath turban when I go in the tub, otherwise couldn’t imagine wearing it out and about.
Add the tub is just where turbans belong! ;)
