Once upon a time in Mexico – Buckle “it”

The It Lists got a sneak peak at some of Virgins, Saints, & Angels new line.
From Spain to Mexico to Hollywood, stylists and celebrities are flocking to Virgins Saints and Angels for jewelry adorned with powerful images like The Virgin of Guadalupe, Eve, Mary Magdalene, Frida Kahlo and more…
Goddess inspired pieces offered in chains, buckles and pendants and are thought to bring peace to the wearer and give protection from evil spirits; and encourage enlightenment, expression, and creativity by incorporating imagery and symbolism borrowed from life in Mexico.
While more traditional rings, earrings and necklaces are available, but the belt buckles are my fashion picks. The gorgeous mosaic belt buckles are stunning art pieces. Ornate yet feminine they lend a rock ‘n’ roll edge to jeans and tee or all dressed up.
VSA is a staple at boutiques like Lisa Rinna’s belle gray, and spotted on John Galliano, Madonna, Jessica and Ashley Simpson, David Navarro, Robbie Williams, Alanis Morissette, Tim McGraw, and Usher.

I just read article in MORE magazine about Cheryl Finnegan and her jewelry, with photo of many long fab necklaces, but no source for where to purchase online, as I am mostly bedridden. Are her necklaces available anywhere online and if so, do you have to be a Hilton to afford them?

No need to be a Hilton to enjoy these trinkets.. but they’re not Forever 21 prices either. I suggest you go to their “contact us” page and email them for a store list or shopping sources.

I read about Ms. Finnegan’s jewelry endeavor in Mexico. I had mixed feelings about how Mexicans are once again being used to do most of the labor. It’s sad that the exploitation of these ‘artisans’ is taking place under such a guise using the Virgen de Guadalupe and other icons as a lure to those who can afford to pay out the hundreds of dollars for a piece of this ‘art.’
Meanwhile, (according to the MORE magazine article) the folks working ‘back at the ranch’ don’t even have access to phones. Hmmm…don’t most reputable companies have cell phone service made available to all their professional employees as a necessity and not a perk?
Anyway, such is the life of a rich gringa who becomes richer day by day….
