The It Lists and a zillion other sources have been predicting that one of the hottest colors for spring is going to be yellow. It’s the perfect core or accent to take all the black you’ve been buying into the next season.
Even Paris caught a bit of yellow fever for her recent birthday.
One retailer who’s doing yellow right would be Arden B with their B. Modern The Black, White & Yellow Collection. Here’s a sampling of some yellow frocks - including a tunic that’s right out of Factory Girl.

Okay…
I am a lip gloss junkie. There I said it.
This is to my readers’ advantage, because when I say I have found a gloss you gotta try – I mean it. And I’ve just barely beat Oprah to busting out this secret, as she’s planning to be sharing this with the masses in an upcoming episode.
Open Sundaes - Deliciously Glossy Lip Toppings. They’re hydrating and I don’t have to reapply every ten minutes, but it’s also not too goopy (which is usually the rule of thumb for gloss that lasts).
The latest “Neapolitan” trio is my favorite, but I could only get my hands on the Chocolate Soda. There’s a waiting list for both the pink and vanilla sundae.
To be candid, I almost overlooked this find. I’m a girly girl. But was still a bit nervous about the stores’ pastel and pink overload, which look like a 1950’s ice cream parlour exploded. The flagship stores are in my hometown, Vancouver, which is also known as Hollywood North. So it’s no surprise that Jessica Alba, who’s always there filming something, has become a huge Open Sundaes fan.
Now that I’ve ventured in this pink adventure I’ve loaded up on some really neat products, like their dessert-inspired bath bombs and cupcake bubble bath (fun!), ice tea bubbles, body frosting, and hair powder. So expect more product reviews soon!

If you think Fab covered the Golden Globes and Grammys with gusto, just wait until this Sunday (and beyond) with the Oscars! In case you missed them, I have already given you two Oscars Fab Finding missions and one Oscars Beauty Mark It!.

Couture shares her oversized sunglass picks. The It Lists fav: Prada Linea Rossa - Aviator Wrap Sunglasses ($245) Round aviator wrap style with logo detail at temple.

While your parka and shawls enter hibernation, your brand new LWDs, trapeze silhouettes, and black-and-white prints are sure to enjoy heavy rotation.

The trend for blasting your music to all and sundry continues apace, but actually, this iDear wooden speaker almost makes anti-social behaviour look cute.
Rachel Goodwin’s work regularly graces the covers of Elle, Nylon and more. Her pro makeup artistry makes pretty girls even prettier - from Camilla Belle to Sarah Michelle Gellar. In the recent Feb issue of Glamour there was an easy to miss section with some great tips that I’ve never heard before….
Missing beauty sleep (fake 8 hours): Skip mascara on your lower lashes; use peach blush.
Flawless Skin: Massage s serum-type moisturizer for a makeup base (let it soak), and then brush on compact foundation. She’s addicted to Bare Escentuals i.d. BareMinerals.
Air Brushed Look: Mix textures - matte and shimmer (matted foundation with a shimmery blush, but never! A shimmer on shimmer or vise versa).
Make it Last: When you’re all done mist on Icy Beauty Refreshing Cosmetic Prep.
Spring is sprunging, and I don’t want to wreck any more shoes! The last round of walking the dog in the rain ended up with one Nine West wedge, wedged in the mud and one bare foot. Not my prettiest moment.
So I’m determined to find a cute pair of rain or rubber boots, wellies, whatever you want to call them – but a funky pair of boots to wear in the rain. Kate Moss can match them up with her skinny jeans and hold onto some style, well so can we.
Hands down the best selection in one spot is at Diane’s Little Lambs, but their prices are about 10% higher than if you shop around a little. I’ve tried to find you links to the best prices. My favorites…

(My top pick!) Chooka Blue Tattoo City
Target Blue Cherry

Target Comic Town Rainboots and Jeffrey Campbell Orange and Paisley Search EC1026146 at Shoes.com

Gabriella Rocha Tall Cherry (Black) Search #7270723 at Zappos.com!
And for the safe (classic) bet - and much cheaper than Marc Jacobs…Overstock has Satra Rain Boots. I think the brown or khaki would be cool.

February’s "it" girl was an easy pick. Drew Barrymore has rebounded off her breakup from ex-fiance, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and is rekindling her romance with all of us fans. I think I’ve caught her on every talk show as she pumps the accolades of her new movie Music & Lyrics - in which she’s starring with Hugh Grant.
Being single becomes her because it seems like she’s finally found her fashion style.
First her chic updo at the Calvin Klein after-party during Fashion Week; Au natural beauty at the Golden Globes; and then that amazing black and gold gown at the premier of Music & Lyrics.
And let’s not forget her recent cover and shoot for Harper’s Bazaar. In it she dishes about her upcoming movie, Music and Lyrics, co-star Hugh Grant, love, and advises her pal, Lindsay Lohan. Sneak peak of the article here.
It’s been fun to grow up with Drew, and great to now take a few life and fashion cues from her too.
P.S. Recent rumor has her linked with director Spike Jonze this past Valentine’s Day.

Drew is looking so hot lately and in this Roberto Cavalli dress at the Music and Lyrics premiere last week she piled on stacked gold bracelets. I think she went a bit overboard but I do really like this look.

Le-Fashionista.com’s latest indie designer find Pink Elf Spring Collection 2007. The ultra versatile Kimono Dress…
While at the hardware store, designer Erica Anenberg was inspired to recreate everyday objects–such as the tab from a soda can–in jewelry form. Pairing the soda can tab with a nail, drill bit, and a nut, she created a "junk" necklace that looks anything but.
Madonna has a new line of clothing called "M" coming out for H&M around the end of March. Of course there is an ad campaign to help promote the new line, and Madge is looking pretty darn good in these ads.
Cheap, chic and socially responsible, wrist bands make more than a mere fashion statement; they make a difference. So maybe every color of the rainbow exists for a different cause every week. Really, what’s a cause without a wristband? So let me tell you about the "it" band right now.
George Clooney’s cause Save - Darfur. George and his dad went to Sudan to learn for
themselves about the genocide happening. There’s already been 400,000 deaths and over 2 mill displaced because the Sudan government is supporting the militia group, Janjaweed to erase the non-arab tribes.
WIN! The first 20 people that signup for our monthly newsletter (far right top corner of our site) - will win a free www.SaveDarfur.Org "Not On My Watch" wrist band.

I’ve been waiting!! To share more than just rumor that MAC Cosmetics was launching a Barbie Collection so that it didn’t disappoint (like it did with launching only one Playboy lipstick - I think it was called Bunny).
Tada! Here it is today…and it looks fun, very pink, but very fun. Face, eyes, lips, nails, and the M.A.C. Barbie Collection wouldn’t be complete without a special edition MAC Barbie doll. Now you too can look like an adult Barbie.
All this pink makeup will actually look great with this spring’s predicted hot color - yellow.
Oh! and the little promo video is a fun walk thru memory lane with Barbie. Click here and when it loads it’s on the far right corner.
A bunch of my gal friends are already planning the party circuit for the annual Winter Music Conference in Miami (by the way –why do they call it the winter conference when it’s in spring?). It’ll be P-Diddy and poolside all week long.
If I was going and could only bring one thing it’d hands down be something from the Spring 2007 Collection of T-Bags. It’s soooo Miami. Totally geared for traveling wrinkle free, and all the collage and color for the jet set crew.
This pattern and in the long, braided neck is my fav (and appropriate for all Miami’s art deco architecture). But also like it in this top and short dress.
And while looking for T-Bags shots at www.shopbutante.com and www.pinkmascara.com…I also found this shopping site www.activeendeavors.com that offers free shipping (and returns) to USA and Canada. The name and the site isn’t very sexy, but the stock looks great and prices good! Ping me or post comments if you’ve used them - and what you thought!
Everyone from bartend(ress) to moms were my friend testers for the “it” cream – Skin MD Natural. There’s a zillion creams out there, but it’s really rare to find something that is not greasy, instantly silky soft, and doesn’t wash away and have to be reapplied over and over.
It’s got moisturizing properties that are six times greater than glycerin. Unlike artificial moisturizers, Skin MD Natural bonds with the outer layer of skin to turn it into what works like an “invisible shield” that keeps moisture robbing irritants out while helping to retain your skin’s own natural moisture.
After great results on my hands I decided to brave trying it on my face – yeah the bottle says "Hand, Body & Face," but I’ve got sensitive skin that either gets too dry or breaks out. So I was totally surprised with the perfect balance I found. I’m not quite ready to leave my trusted Jurlique face cream, but I’m liking a little bit of rotation with Skin MD.
It’s a bit more expensive than some hand lotions, but it’s a total value when you don’t have to use as much a other creams - and by rotating or replacing your face cream too!

Today’s ‘It’ girl Sienna Miller plays the original ‘It’ girl Edie Sedgwick in the movie Factory Girl hitting theaters today. After getting the inside scoop from the film’s costume designer John Dunn, I learned that Sienna’s wardrobe was, not surprisingly, mostly vintage - except a pair of killer Jimmy Choo boots.
.
There is so much going on with fashion week and just breaking stories in general but this one is for a great cause and its absolutely fantastic. Bon Jovi and Kenneth Cole are launching the “R.S.V.P. to HELP” online auction to raise money for charity.

Has Betsey Johnson grown up? If the answer lies in her Fall 2007 collection, then the answer is a resounding yes! Betsey is known for her flirty, flamboyant and oh-so-girly dresses, but this time around, she toned it down—way down—and went the menswear-as-womenswear route. Key pieces seen on her brooding runway included high-waisted shorts, men’s socks worn with loafers and voluminous coats.
Zac Posen has a lot of celebrity friends (is there any other kind?), and judging by their presence in the front rows, they’ll be snapping up his red-carpet ready gowns and sexy little dresses. Evening is Zac’s specialty, but there were plenty of daytime looks as well, but some of those weren’t quite as spot-on.
I recently wrote about the Just Bitten Lip Stain. Still lovin it! I find at work I always get too busy to reapply and this is just an easy way to keep a spot of color all day long.
But for more gloss there’s something new in the same Revlon’s Limited Edition Collection - Midnight Swirl™ Lip Lustre. At first I had to wrap my head around the whole swirl thing of grey (they say silver pearl - but it’s gun metal grey) and gloss color. The ‘grey’ is supposed to create a low lite effect.Translate: lips have depth.
I don’t know about that - but what I do like is a subtle shimmer and with the Cran-tilly Lace I’m liking the decadent port wine aroma. That’s much more grown up than strawberries!
The man behind taking trucker’s hats and tshirt combos into everyday wear is most likely credited as Christian Audigier. He’s the man that started Von Dutch, but after 3 years left to join tattoo artist Ed Hardy to create tattoo inspired shoes, shirts, dog gear…everything.
I think his Geisha styles are really fun and funky, like this Caviar Geisha T-shirt or even more original is the Ed Hardy Lynx Collection Watch (stainless steel with Swarovski crystals).
