Ecofriendly isn’t a trend it’s now a way of life – so it makes sense to start seeing a textile revolution.
Bamboo clothing will become the next "it" fiber due to it’s remarkable natural characteristics: it’s as soft as cashmere (ah, now I have your attention), naturally wicks moisture, naturally antibacterial, extra breathable, stays cooler in heat, warmer in the cold, and is the most environmentally friendly raw material on the planet.
Panda Snack founders Deborah Boria and Dearrick Knupp are definitely onto something. They’ve married eco-consciousness with fair trade and chic design…love this t-shirt. I have found a label that does amazing pieces made from bamboo…they are an Australian label called cylk. http://www.cylk.com.au has some beautiful pieces and they ship internationally!
